Walk the Triskelion Way this November
Walking.im are pleased to offer the opportunity to walk the Triskelion Way, the islands newest national trail using the oldest routes this Autumn, a particularly beautiful time of the year on this route with the changing colours.
Join us from Sunday 1st November to walk the 38 miles of this ancient pilgrimage route in 4 manageable stages, increasing the distance over the weeks to explore tholtans, waterfalls, heritage sites, and enjoy amazing views.
The numbers will be limited to a maximum of 12 people, so don’t delay booking your place to join us with friendly company and safe in the knowledge that the guide, Ken Harding, holds professional qualifications from the Mountain Training Association and will support everyone to allow you to maximise your enjoyment of the amazing and varied landscapes along this route.
The walk route will be point to point, starting and finishing in different locations each week. The sections will be as follows.
Section 1: Sunday 1st November @ 0900 – 1230 – Rushen Abbey to Glen Maye Car Park approx. 7.5 miles
Section 2: Sunday 8th November @0900 – 1245 – Glen Maye Car Park to Switchback Car Park approx. 8 miles
Section 3: Sunday 15th November @0900 – 1415 – Switchback Car Park to Sulby Reservoir Car Park approx. 10 miles
Section 4: Sunday 22nd November @0900 – 1500 – Sulby Reservoir Car Park to Maughold Church approx. 12 miles
The walking terrain varies from open moorland, along coastal footpaths and country roads, through plantations and woodland, national glens and on greenways. Walking.im will accommodate and support all participants but would ask that you are confident of your fitness and comfortable to walk the approximate distances. The route involves a few ups and downs but will include plenty of rest stops and the later sections will include lunch stops.
Please ensure you wear comfortable and supportive walking shoes/boots with good grip and carry suitable clothing with waterproofs in case the weather closes in. Bring walking poles if you use them, camera, lunch for the final two stages, and snacks to ensure you stay nourished and plenty of fluid/water. Please also bring any medication which you may require and inform us of any medical issues which we should be aware of.
The cost is £10 per person for each section to be guided around the Triskelion Way. This is a special Autumn Staycation offer from Walking.im and places will be limited to 12.

Walking.im are fully accredited and insured for guided walking activities and follow industry guidelines to ensure your safety so that you can enjoy the walking experience with confidence.
