Thursday Group Walk – Summits and searching for Sundews

Why not start exploring the Manx Countryside and join the fun, friendly and chatty Thursday Walking group as we walk in the Manx Countryside.

Our Thursday walks are around 5 miles and taking at a leisurely pace with plenty of time to chat away and enjoy the views (and company).

The routes don’t involve any steep or prolonged hills but each week we try to explore new parts of the Island and new paths and tracks.

This week it a 5-mile circular route starting from Sartfell Plantation Car Park, we summit Colden and go in search of carnivorous Sundews!

This walk has a few ups and downs …and as always, we will take our time.

Please bring a drink if you wish but we always supply the treats for Thursday walks, good footwear, and clothes to suit the weather on the day.

After the walk there is always a reservation made locally for lunch if you wish to come along for refreshments.

All are welcome on Thursday Walks including your four-legged friend.
