If you enjoy walking, you will love our Walk the Isle of Man festival! Whether you are a seasoned hiker who knows the Island well or you are here for the first time to experience our magnificent landscapes and spectacular coastlines, Walk the Isle of Man promises a feast of sights and sounds, experiences, and adventures to treasure forever. Our 2024 programme contains a superb choice of daily walks throughout the week and an additional supper walk. Covering a mixture of leisurely/interest, leisurely/moderate, moderate,and strenuous routes the festival is designed to appeal to all levels. Simply select one walk per day. You can scale up as the week goes on or take some days more leisurely than others. It’s entirely up to you.
About the Event
Embracing all that’s good about the great outdoors, this long established, and hugely popular six-day Festival is equally suited to individuals or larger groups. It’s a fun way to meet new people and take in the full range of the Isle of Man’s spectacular scenery.
Experience the Island’s breathtaking landscapes – via rugged walks along the circuitous Raad Ny Foillan coastal path, gorgeous 360-degree views available from the Island’s many fells, and from the charm and tranquillity afforded by numerous countryside footpaths.
Cost-effective, all-inclusive packages
You can participate in one of five specially selected daily walks over the five days, varying in distance and degree of difficulty to suit all levels. Each walk is led by experienced and knowledgeable guides who will point out areas of historic and cultural interest and offer fascinating insights into the Island’s heritage. Along the way, you will get to witness the Isle of Man’s abundant wildlife and marine life first hand – it never disappoints!
Packages for Walk the Isle of Man start from just £557 per person for six nights.
This includes a 5 Day Go Explore Card, offering free unlimited travel on all the Island’s public transport, buses, steam trains & electric and horse drawn trams throughout the event. A choice of walks per day to suit varyingabilities, welcome pack & reception, and farewell reception with hot buffet.
